Join St. Anne’s for the Imposition of Ashes & Holy Eucharist to observe Ash Wednesday, on March 5. Three services will be held in the church sanctuary at 8 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Burning of the Palms and Cards of Burden

On Shrove Tuesday, we will gather outside the Parish House at 6 p.m. for a sacred rite: the burning of palms from the previous year’s Palm Sunday.

My invitation is for you to not only bring your palms but your index cards to lay down what we no longer need to carry, trusting that God’s refining fire will transform our burdens into something new.

St. Anne’s will host Dr. Ron Haflidson of St. John's College as our speaker at the Adult Forum on Sunday, March 2. Join us for his talk, “Journeying with Christ: The Church on its earthly pilgrimage.” We will gather at 11:30 a.m. in the Church.

As a faculty member in St. John's College’s great books program and author of a book on Augustine, “On Solitude, Conscience, Love and Our Inner and Outer Lives,” Haflidson brings Augustinian insights into what it means to be the Body of Christ on our earthly pilgrimage.

BWV 82, Ich habe genug (“It is enough”), J.S. Bach’s setting of the Song of Simeon, will be presented as part of the 10 AM service on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, continuing our musical exploration of Bach’s settings of the great canticles of the Incarnation.
