Pilgrimage through the Psalms of Ascent
The pilgrimage through the Psalms of Ascent, a time of spiritual reading and reflection, will be online at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16.

St. John Passion
On April 18 at 7:00 p.m., we will offer a Good Friday Vespers service built around J.S. Bach’s Passion according to St. John, BWV 245. This is a joint project of the St. Anne’s Choir, the Annapolis Chorale and the Bach+ ensemble.

May 4 Dedication, Garden of Peace and Remembrance
St. Anne’s Episcopal Parish invites you to the dedication of the Garden of Peace and Remembrance at historic St. Anne’s Cemetery on Sunday, May 4, at 4:00 p.m. Your presence will help us commemorate the lives and contributions of those who have gone before us.

On March 23, March 30 and April 6, we will deepen our life of discipleship within the context of our Anglican tradition. We will prayerfully and joyfully review key elements of Christian Formation as we foster a sense of community.

Eucharistic Visitor Ministry Training
Eucharistic Visitor Ministry – Eucharistic ministry is a sacred task where an individual assists in the distribution of Holy Communion to those who are ill or otherwise unable to attend church. Training is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Ash Wednesday Services
Join St. Anne’s for the Imposition of Ashes & Holy Eucharist to observe Ash Wednesday, on March 5. Three services will be held in the church sanctuary at 8 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The 7:30 p.m. Ash Wednesday service will feature moving music from Bach and Albinoni. Click to learn more.

Burning of the Palms and Cards of Burden
On Shrove Tuesday, we will gather outside the Parish House at 6 p.m. for a sacred rite: the burning of palms from the previous year’s Palm Sunday.
My invitation is for you to not only bring your palms but your index cards to lay down what we no longer need to carry, trusting that God’s refining fire will transform our burdens into something new.

March 2 Adult Forum
Sunday, March 2
St. Anne’s will host Dr. Ron Haflidson of St. John's College as our speaker at the Adult Forum on Sunday, March 2. Join us for his talk, “Journeying with Christ: The Church on its earthly pilgrimage.” We will gather at 11:30 a.m. in the Church.
As a faculty member in St. John's College’s great books program and author of a book on Augustine, “On Solitude, Conscience, Love and Our Inner and Outer Lives,” Haflidson brings Augustinian insights into what it means to be the Body of Christ on our earthly pilgrimage.

The Great Canticles as cantatas
BWV 82, Ich habe genug (“It is enough”), J.S. Bach’s setting of the Song of Simeon, will be presented as part of the 10 AM service on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, continuing our musical exploration of Bach’s settings of the great canticles of the Incarnation.
